"The Kitchen Musical" Grabs Two Nominations at NYF

The Asian musical-cooking TV series "The Kitchen Musical" which was aired on Philippine free TV via Studio 23, has been nominated for "Best Writing" and "Best Performance" categories at 2012 New York Festival under International Television and Film Awards.
"It is such an honor for a small company like ours to be recognized by long-standing established body such as the New York Festival. These acknowledgments from a jury of award-winning industry professionals from around the world who are recognized as leaders in their respective fields, will propel us to continue to follow our instincts, buck the trend, and produce creations that increase happiness quotients globally," CheeK said, creator of "The Kitchen Musical" and Head of Creative of TGE.
The TV series features international talents - British thespian Stephen Rahman-Hughes, our very own Filipino artists Karylle and Christian Bautista, Hong Kong actress-supermodel Rosemary Vandenbroucke and New York based Filipino stage actor Arthur Acuña.
After it's successful launch, the show will proceed for a second season this May 2012 across multiple platforms including more broadcasts on "Free-to-Air" stations across Asia.
On it's 55th year, the ceremony will be held at Las Vegas on April 17.
