Charice wins at Nick Awards 2012 for 'Favorite Asian Act'

Youtube singing sensation turned international pop star Charice won as 'Favorite Asian Act' in the recently concluded Nickelodeon's 2012 Kids' Choice Awards.
Among other nominees under 'Favorite Asian Act' were Agnes Monica from Indonesia, Wonder Girls from Korea, and Yuna of Malaysia.
'Favorite Asian Act' is a new special category added to Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2012 and is an Asia-specific award as it only appears on the Kids Choice Awards' Asia website and not on the USA-based one.
Hosted by Will Smith, among the artists who joined were Chris Rock, Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Zac Efron, Heidi Klum, Victoria Justice, Miranda Cosgrove, Big Time Rush, Chris Colfer, Cee Lo Green, Katy Perry, and UK boy band One Direction.
Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2012 will airhere in the Philippines on April 12 at 10am.
