ABS-CBN Kicks Off Summer Station ID 2012 'Pinoy Summer, Da Best Forever'

Kapamilya network launched on ASAP today, April 15, it's much-coveted Summer Station ID this year titled "Pinoy Summer, Da Best Forever."

Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson really has a good tandem as the two sings together this year's theme song "Pinoy Summer, Da Best Forever."

Sarah and Gerald, together with the biggest and brightest Kapamilya stars showcased the colorful and rich culture of Filipinos not only the beauty of nature that we have but also we Filipinos as a family and a nation.

"This year's summer station id paints a picture of how Filipinos are proud of their heritage and values as reflected in our very own festivals. Bayanihan, camaraderie, unity, respect, and love for one's self are the prime Filipino values highlighted. Color and joy spread like summer heat, awakening the festivities and making celebrations more alive", says ABS-CBN Head of Creative Communications Robert Labayen.

The ABS-CBN network as a non-government organization (NGO), makes a good contribution in terms of tourism in the country as it offers not only to the country but all around the world how wonderful and rich our culture is. The Kapamilya network is the one behind the tourism campaign "Choose Philippines" and launched the website choosephils.com which encourages everyone to promote and choose Philippines. Lately choosephils launched it's newest video "Piliin mo ang Pilipinas" interpreted by Pilipinas  Got Talent finalist El Gamma Penumbra.
